I am Kathleen Muller, PMHNP-BC, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner I have experience in providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care to adults. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University. Over the years, I've dedicated myself to helping individuals navigate various mental health challenges and life transitions, always focusing on creating a trusting, supportive, and effective therapeutic relationship. Together, I'd like to help you set mental health goals at a pace you're comfortable with.

I regularly work with individuals facing a variety of life's diverse challenges including anxiety/ panic, family-of-origin concerns, depression, maternal mental health, transition to parenthood, trauma, grief/ loss, sexual issues, and career related concerns. I also have a specialization in sex and relationship therapy. Please note, I do not provide couple or family therapy services on insurance as these forms of therapy are not recognized by insurances. If you'd like couple or family services, I provide out of network services and can also provide a sliding scale based on your income/ genuine financial need.

I have been a licensed therapist for over a decade and received my training at state of the art educational institutes including Syracuse University and other hospital and outpatient centers across NY and Manhattan. I have also sought out ongoing participation in professional clinical consultation groups with some of the most influential therapists and thought leaders of our time. These varied and diverse professional training experiences enable me to provide the best possible care to each client I serve. I also work with my clients to attain joy, balance, and success in their work, health, relationships, and mind-body-spirit. As a fierce advocate for holistic health, I am committed to harnessing my clients’ personal potential for wellness.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies from the University of Florida (2006), my Master of Science in Applied Psychology from Lynn University (2014), and my certification as a Functional Medicine Health Coach from the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (2022). I also have a background in the performing arts, teaching in higher education, and love to cook, swim in the ocean, bike, read, write, and laugh!
