I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, teens, adults, and older adults.

I help people with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma/PTSD, sleep problems, stress, and mood concerns.

I offer both in-person and virtual appointments in Florida and virtual in Oregon. I take time to listen, understand what you are going through, explain your treatment options clearly, and work with you to create a treatment plan that fits your needs and goals.

I'm Jeanette, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and co-founder of Full Time Human here in Davie, Florida. I work with individuals, couples, and families, and I run the practice alongside my mother, Doris, so I bring both clinical training and real lived experience in how families work. My focus is helping families through hard moments, whether that's a rough patch between partners, a struggling teen, or a household that just feels out of sync.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Florida International University. I obtained a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University and completed both a master’s and doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Albizu University. I gained predoctoral internship training at University of Central Florida and a postdoctoral fellowship at Jackson Health System in affiliation with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

I believe in creating a non-judgmental and empathic environment where my clients feel safe and free to examine their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

I have experience supporting adults and families through difficult times, and I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs. I’m a licensed therapist who works with moms and couples who feel overwhelmed, burnt out, and disconnected. I specialize in postpartum mental health, anxiety, and the mental load that often falls on women. My approach is warm, direct, and practical—I’ll support you while also helping you shift the patterns that keep you stuck. Therapy with me is a space to be honest, feel understood, and start reconnecting with yourself and your relationship.

As a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I believe in prioritizing mental health for all persons as s key to happiness and stability.
