My therapeutic style is personalized because I don't believe once approach fits all. I integrate evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness based interventions, and trauma informed techniques. Together, we will work together to identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck while developing practical skills you can use outside of our session.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and have worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and Baptist Health South Florida. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I treat conditions including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, and substance use. As a bilingual provider in English and Spanish, I am committed to making compassionate mental health care more accessible.
