I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California with a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California. I’ve worked in the mental health field for over a decade and have spent the past eight years providing therapy to adolescents and adults. My work focuses on supporting clients through challenges related to self‐esteem, anxiety, family and peer relationships, body image, depression, academic and work stress, grief and loss, and anger management.
I am a licensed therapist who has been working in the field since 2014 with diverse individuals in different settings. I attended California State Polytechnic University for my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and the University of Southern California for my Masters in Social Work. I specialize in working with individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, women's issues and grief and loss issues. On a personal note, I love to hike, cook and watch movies.
You and I, together, will develop a therapeutic relationship ideal for producing change and growth. Rooted in trust, honesty, and transparency, my goal is to create a safe space for you to think & feel out loud! Self-exploration here will garner solutions to your concerns. We'll ensure you gain a better understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
I provide compassionate, strengths-based therapy to support individuals navigating life’s most difficult seasons, including trauma, major life transitions, and grief. My approach centers on helping clients feel seen, supported, and empowered as they work through emotional challenges and move toward healing and resilience.
I specialize in grief and loss, adjustment to terminal illness, and anxiety. Using process-oriented and compassion-focused counseling techniques, I help clients explore their experiences at a deeper level while developing practical tools for emotional balance and self-understanding. I am also trained in Brainspotting, an evidence-based trauma therapy that supports clients in processing deep emotional pain and unresolved trauma in a safe and supportive environment.
My goal is to create a therapeutic space where clients feel understood, respected, and encouraged to grow at their own pace.
Throughout my three decades as a therapist, I have discovered that one of the most important skills I have developed is the ability to listen deeply. Along the way, I have gained a broad range of therapeutic tools and approaches, but I have learned that meaningful change begins when people feel truly heard. My mentors are the horse whisperers. I believe they listen with their whole body. They trust the intuitive nature of their horse. I like to think that I use some of this as I work with each client, trusting their intuitive nature. Together we are learning what is present in the room, gaining new insights and feeling more empowered.
I am available to assist with many of the current issues that are affecting us all. Issues os depression, anxiety and PTSD are impacting many. Relationship and communication challenges are problematic. Challenging adolescents and children suffering from ADHD or Learning Disabilities are impacting family life. I can assist you with these common challenges, and help to provide and process solutions.
With over a decade of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse and a Master’s degree as a Psychiatric Mental
Health Nurse Practitioner, I specialize in treating mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, neurodiversity, and medication
management.
