Something brought you here today. With 25 years working alongside people in community mental health settings, I have learned that deciding to start therapy takes
real courage. My work begins where you are, not where someone thinks you should be. Whether you are carrying anxiety, grief, relationship strain, the weight of life transitions, or simply wondering if things could feel different, I want to hear your whole story before we figure out the path forward. Everyone has their own, and we will find yours together.
People connect for a reason! As an established Licensed Professional Counselor since 2012 and Certified Nature-Informed Therapist since 2022, I have come to believe that genuine, natural connections shape the best path for forward movement. With 20+ years in the mental health field, I have gained very much experience that has allowed me to make these types of connections with my clients. The various mindful and grounding techniques I utilize can be especially helpful for people struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and dysregulated nervous systems.
I'm Nakia, a licensed clinical social worker and medical social worker since 2013. After experiencing loss at a young age, it was a school counselor who helped me finally process that grief. The way she showed up for me is exactly why I do this work. My calling in life is to show up for people when they need me most, the way that counselor showed up for me when I needed it most. I am here to help you navigate through life's happenings, and I would love to be that person for you.
I am a counselor who likes to focus on the systemic as well. I want to help the whole person. I received my Masters from the University of Pennsylvania and I currently practice in Pennsylvania and Virginia. I focus mainly on trauma, substance use, depression, and anxiety. I have experience working with military populations, people of color, and the LGBTQ community.
Hi, I’m Margie. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping children and adults navigate their healing journeys. Currently, I work with adults experiencing perinatal mood disorders (ie postpartum depression or anxiety), those navigating the journey to parenthood, or struggling to become a parent.
Looking for holistic and a well - rounded metal health ? Search no further , we specialize in creative affirming and energetic approach for a healthier YOU!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a variety of professional experiences. I have a unique competency and passion in working with young children and their caregivers (8 and under) as well as working with First Responder families.
I obtained my MSW from the University of Pittsburgh and my most recent jobs have included working as a child therapist and Early Childhood Mental Health consultant, I obtained my LSW in 2020 and my LCSW in 2024. I also am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, trained in EMDR.
I bring both professional expertise and genuine empathy to my work. Having navigated my own experiences with immigration, career changes and motherhood, I understand how destabilizing major life transitions can be. Those experiences shape how I show up for patients. I believe people do best when they feel truly seen, heard, and supported. My approach is integrative and individualized, grounded in evidence based care while also guided by curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story and capacity for growth.
My focus is on psychiatric medication management, including diagnosis and ongoing care for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and related concerns. I do not provide weekly or primary psychotherapy, and may not be the best fit if you are seeking therapy-only services. If you are looking for ongoing talk therapy, I encourage you to select a licensed therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD) whose profile and approach best meet your needs.
Notice for New Jersey Clients: Due to current New Jersey law, stimulant medications cannot be prescribed without an in-person assessment. Because my practice is exclusively online, I am unable to prescribe these medications. I am, however, happy to help you explore non-controlled medication options for ADHD and other supportive strategies.
Please also note: I do not offer medical marijuana evaluations or cards.
Hola! I Bienvenido/Welcome to my practice. I am honored to support you on your healing journey. I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Moravian University and a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the Catholic University of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. As a Latina therapist, I am committed to creating a space that feels culturally responsive and safe. In our sessions I bring a mix of warmth and honesty, paired with evidenced-based approaches all through trauma-informed lens. I am a therapist who believes healing happens when the mind, the soul and body are integrated.
