Welcome! I'm Kerriann and I became a therapist because I love helping others to become the best version of themselves possible. My clients choose me because I'm warm, gentle, and help them to live authentic and fulfilling lives. I'm a licensed therapist (LCSW-C), a board-approved supervisor, and received my MSW from the University of Maryland SSW. I have extensive training in my areas of specialty, which are grief and loss, parenting, and anxiety.
I believe that seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. My goal is to create a warm, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to work toward meaningful change.
I am a PMHNP with 4 years of experience providing mental health care to individuals [and/or families/couples]. Through my practice, EP Serenity, I work with clients experiencing [anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, mood disorders, grief, relationship concerns, stress, life transitions, maternal mental health, etc.]. I provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for anxiety depression , ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorders, insomnia, OCD, women's issues and domestic abuse survivors.
My approach is individualized because I recognize that no two people—or two life experiences—are exactly alike. I draw from , person-centered therapy, to help clients better understand themselves, develop healthy coping skills, navigate difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, and move toward greater balance and fulfillment.
As a mother of four beautiful children, I also understand the many roles, responsibilities, joys, and challenges that can come with caring for yourself while caring for others. I bring compassion, authenticity, and a real-world perspective into my work while maintaining a professional and supportive therapeutic environment.
Outside of my professional life, I love spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and anything that allows me to connect with nature. I believe that life is about more than simply getting through the difficult moments—it is also about discovering what brings you joy, purpose, peace, and connection.
My hope is that our work together will help you feel more confident, supported, and equipped to create the life you want.
I would be honored to walk alongside you in that journey. Welcome to EP Serenity.
What is your approach to therapy?
I believe that therapy is most effective when it is a collaborative partnership tailored to your unique story. My style is warm, holistic, and integrative. Because I am trained in both Clinical Social Work and Christian Theology (Masters of Divinity), I view health through a wide lens—considering not just your thoughts and behaviors, but also your values, your community, and the physical way your body carries stress.
My goal is to help you move from a place of "just getting by" to a place where you feel grounded, resilient, and authentically yourself.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been helping children, teenagers, and adults for over 25 years. My primary areas of specialization are anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem and coping, and ADHD. I believe we all are doing the best we can every day. I provide an open, supportive, non-judgmental environment for you to be your authentic self. I focus on collaboration and each client's individuality and strengths.
