A little about me. I received my Bachelor of Psychology in 2000 and my Master of Education in Community Counseling in 2002 from the University of Akron. For 9 years, I provided therapeutic counseling services to children and adults in outpatient, home-based, and school-based settings. For the past 11 years, I have provided outpatient mental health therapy to individuals, couples, and families of all ages, in person and via telehealth, in a private practice setting.

I am a very diverse therapist who feels it is very important to meet clients where they are at. I have an open-door policy regarding client population. We are all in this life together and may need assistance to get through! I provide high-quality care to older teens, adults, and couples in need through the convenience of telehealth. “It is my mission to help others help themselves, and to help them get through life’s obstacles!"

I'm an LCSW practicing in Indiana, Florida, Ohio, Colorado, Alabama, Virginia, and Illinois. I specialize prenatal, childhood, and adolescent trauma, OCD, eating disorders, and ARFID. I currently see clients from age 2y through adulthood. I'm available for telehealth services and offer virtual psychotherapy and play therapy sessions.

I am Lisa Kirby, a therapist with over 14 years of experience working in a variety of clinical settings. I am dually licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Designation (LPCC-S) and an Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT) in Ohio. I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults, and I specialize in relational work with couples and families.
