How do we make sense of our stuff? This is a critical question. Life can be challenging and sometimes we can’t understand what we are experiencing and why. Much of our ability to overcome adversity originates from our mindset- how we process our experiences. It is the lens through which we view our reality.
Essentially, what contributes to our overall well-being is not necessarily the absence of setbacks but rather how we respond to these experiences. Our ability to accept our challenges, to make meaning out of them, to understand how they serve us, is necessary for our personal growth. I work with my clients to help them shift their mindset and to find meaning in all of life’s experiences.

Hi, my name is Dr. Lynn Rosenthal. I have many decades of experience helping people with issues presented. I have two Masters degrees and one doctorate in psychology. I've been a Social Worker since 2nd grade-always first in line to give a hug, support friends, and share snacks. In college, I took "Intro to Social Work", and I've never looked back. My career officially started in Addictions, and with my post-graduate studies in Structural Family Therapy, I've honed in my therapeutic skills. I've worked in a variety of settings, most recently as a Veterinary Social Worker. Logic, humor, and animals (preferably dogs!) are the cornerstone tools of my work.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of New York, Colorado, and New Jersey, I've had the opportunity to work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families in various settings. While providing behavioral health supports, I've had the ability to partner through the process of healing wounds that serve as an impediment to wellness.
Within my practice, I utilize Brainspotting, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma focused, play therapy, and solution focused therapy to aid in reaching a state of homeostasis.
