I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with 30 years of nursing experience.

Because the world of mental health acronyms can be confusing, I like to be clear about my role: I am a specialized advanced practice nurse, not a traditional talk therapist. My primary focus is on medical and diagnostic care, featuring carefully tailored medication management. However, I firmly believe that medicine is only part of the puzzle. That is why supportive psychotherapy is deeply woven into our sessions together, alongside guidance on lifestyle changes to support your daily wellness. Hi there, I’m Elizabeth, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than five years of experience supporting adults 18 and older. I went into psychiatry because I saw how deeply mental health and overall health are connected, and I knew I wanted to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I’m honored to walk alongside my clients as they move toward healing, growth, and greater wellness.

Dr. Seraphine Agbor is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner CRNP-PMH, graduated with a Doctorate from Chatham University. Dr. Agbor has over seven years of experience working with patients dealing with addiction and mental illnesses. She works with patients dealing with depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, and many others. She utilizes a mix of medications and psychotherapy, and works with devoted staff to offer alternative treatments that may be beneficial to patients. Dr. Agbor follows evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition. She also ensures the quality of care, and open communication lines between all members of the healthcare team. Dr. Agbor has strong clinical skills, enhanced by her natural ability to build rapport with patients and families.

My background as a midwife for 22 years has prepared me to support you in your psychiatric journey. Although I specialize in maternal mental health, I enjoy general psychiatry for all genders age 14 and up. My philosophy is to provide integrative holistic psychiatric care that includes lifestyle changes, nutrition and medication. I attended graduate school at Yale School of Nursing and Frontier Nursing University. I am also certified by Postpartum Support International and am a lactation consultant. I am working towards my integrative psychiatry certification through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute.

I’m committed to providing a respectful, compassionate, supportive, caring, and evidence-based mental health services in a safe space and supportive environment. I strive to listen without judgement because I understand each client’s unique circumstances, and work collaboratively to maintain and develop individualized treatment plans that promotes recovery, personal growth, and emotional wellbeing.
