My goal is to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel comfortable discussing your concerns and actively participating in your treatment
I work with people who feel like life is happening to them—those carrying anxiety, depression, or overwhelming stress, still feeling the weight of past experiences or painful relationships, or noticing that old coping patterns like substance use no longer do what they used to. Most of the people I see arrive with a growing sense that something isn't working, and a willingness to try something different. My approach is collaborative, warm, and focused on understanding what's getting in the way and building a path forward together.
We all need a safe place to be known and supported. For over 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals navigate trauma and abuse recovery, relationship wounds, and seasons of transition. I’m especially drawn to one-on-one counseling and the opportunity to offer a steady presence as clients make sense of their experiences, deepen self-understanding, and move toward greater healing and connection.
I'm compassionate therapist with a focus on maternal mental health, relationships and life transitions, committed to supporting women as they navigate the complexities of both significant life changes and everyday stressors. My approach is empathetic, culturally sensitive, and grounded in a deep respect for each individual’s lived experiences. With over 6 years of experience, I help women build resilience, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and cultivate a sense of balance. I am a Maryland-based Bilingual Clinical Psychologist who specializes in working with children and adolescents and their families with a range of emotional and behavioral conflicts and issues. I have provided individual and family therapy using a variety of evidence-based methods.
With over seven years of experience as a therapist, I specialize in helping individuals navigate life transitions, depression, anxiety, and grief while guiding them toward emotional balance, purpose, and healing. My holistic approach integrates the mind, body, and spirit—helping clients strengthen their overall well-being through healthy routines, daily grounding practices, and mindset transformation.
In my work, I help clients build stronger relationships in friendships, family, and marriage through forgiveness-based therapy, improved communication, and self-awareness. I believe that healing within relationships begins with grace—for oneself and others—and that intentional connection is a vital part of personal growth.
Through individual therapy and group therapeutic retreats, I create spaces where people can reflect, release, and rebuild. My goal is to help each client develop coping tools, nurturing habits, and a renewed sense of peace that supports their transformation both personally and relationally.
I have a double Master's and a Doctoral degree in psychology. I began my graduate study In NYC in 2006 doing research and clinical work in attachment theory both with young children and adults. It was there that I witnessed the impact of early and adult attachments. I have trained and worked in a variety of settings and each time I witnessed the fundamental human need of a secure, responsive and safe connection and the impact of isolation and trauma.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker–Certified (LCSW-C) with extensive experience working in inpatient, group, individual, and couples therapy settings. My background has given me a deep understanding of how people heal both in crisis and in everyday life. In addition to my clinical training, I’m also a certified yoga instructor, which informs my appreciation for the mind-body connection. As a mother, I bring empathy, real-world perspective, and a grounded approach to the challenges my clients face. Together, these experiences shape the holistic, compassionate, and active way I show up in the therapy room.
