I believe mental health care works best when it is collaborative, respectful, and personalized.
HI! My name is Eunice Hernandez, and I am looking forward to connecting with
you! As a clinician, I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard,
safe, and supported. As we build a trusting relationship, I hope to be able to
empower you in identifying action steps you can take to reach your full potential and
self-worth. I have over 20 years of counseling children, adolecent and adults from different walks of life.
When stress starts to build, it can affect more than just your day-to-day life. It can impact your mood, your energy, and your relationships. I work with adults and couples who are navigating anxiety, depression, workplace stress, and burnout. Many of my clients are used to juggling responsibilities, caring for others, and pushing through difficult seasons until they realize they're no longer feeling like themselves. You might feel constantly overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or like you can’t fully “turn off” your mind. At the same time, stress can begin to show up in your relationships through miscommunication, distance, or frustration, making it harder to feel connected and supported.
When someone you love is struggling, or when life starts to feel heavier than you can carry on your own, asking for help can feel overwhelming. You do not have to navigate it alone. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing anxiety, behavioral and emotional challenges, life transitions, school related concerns, family conflict, and trauma. Together, we will build on your strengths, develop practical tools, and create meaningful change that helps you or your loved one feel more confident, connected, and supported.
My nursing career began in 2010 when I first became a Registered Nurse. In 2017 I graduated from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO with my master’s degree in nursing and became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) licensed in Illinois. I have been blessed to work in many facets of healthcare since and has also become a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). With a strong foundation in both primary care and mental health, my approach aligns overall wellness and hormone optimization with physical, mental, and lifestyle well-being.
As a therapist, my top priority is proving my clients with trauma informed and empathetic care. My approach to therapy is to meet my clients where they are and work in collaboration to help them achieve their highest potential.
Making that first call for therapy can feel overwhelming. If you’re here, you’re likely carrying something heavy, and you’re looking for someone who can sit in that space with you without judgment or pressure. I understand that, and I honor the courage it takes to reach out.
As a therapist, I believe healing happens within a relationship built on shared humanity—not a hierarchy. One of my favorite reminders comes from Brené Brown: “Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.” I am not the healer and you are not the wounded. We are equals doing hard, meaningful work together.
Life can feel especially heavy when you are carrying anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship stress, family expectations, or the pressure of balancing different cultural worlds. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy to adults in Illinois and Michigan, with a particular interest in supporting South Asian adults, women, and professionals.
I offer therapy in English, Hindi, and Urdu. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel understood as a whole person—including your culture, identity, family relationships, values, and life experiences. You do not have to minimize what you are feeling or explain why your cultural and family circumstances matter.
Sometimes you can look like you're holding everything together while quietly feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or exhausted. You may spend so much energy taking care of work, family, or everyone around you that there's very little left for yourself. If that sounds familiar, you're not alone.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, panic, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive space where you can slow down, better understand what's contributing to your stress, and build practical tools that help you feel calmer, more confident, and more connected to yourself.
I help adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, and the effects of trauma so they can feel more balanced, confident, and in control of their lives. If you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like the patterns in your life are no longer working, therapy can help you gain clarity, recognize your strengths, and create meaningful change. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in nursing leadership and healthcare operations. After serving as a Chief Nursing Officer, I chose to transition into psychiatric care because I wanted to work more directly with individuals and families. I recently completed my PMHNP training and bring experience supporting people across the lifespan, from children through older adults. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and addiction.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, I bring a compassionate, understanding and results-driven approach to therapy. My education began at Chicago State University where I received bachelor's degree and Jane Addams College of Social Work where I received my masters. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, mood, and personality disorders with clarity and confidence. Together, we’ll build practical tools and deeper insight so you can feel more in control and live your best life.
Hi there, my name’s Ephraim and I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20+ years of experience. My specialties consist of relationships, men’s issues, career counseling, and psychosomatic illnesses.
Whether it's individuals or couples, I'm happy to get to work with whomever comes my way. I do my best to facilitate a warm, trusting environment. My name is Glen Alan Ensinger. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. I lived in Colorado for over 1 year and was licensed last March. I have been licensed as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois since 2002. I have provided crisis counseling and domestic violence counseling for perpetrators and victims. I completed my master's degree at Western Illinois University which included a practicum and internship at White Oaks in Peoria, Illinois. This is a substance abuse program. I have worked at a school for children with behavioral problems and also have provided counseling and crisis services at a community mental health center. For approximately 10 years I was on clinical staff for the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, Illinois where I provided counseling services for clients in the HIV program. I worked over 8 years at the 9th Judicial Court in Illinois as a court services therapist. I have a private practice that includes working for programs that helped children either get adopted or return home from the foster care program (or help parents get the children returned to them). My primary work has been with families, couples and children. I use dialectical behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and general Rogerian therapy to help people live more successful lives.
