Hello! I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in the southeast United States. I have worked in several settings from crisis work with kids and adolescents to individual work with adults to couples counseling.
When trying to do it all yourself is no longer working....stress, anxiety, depression and life transitions can feel heavy and burdensome. Would you like to put that down? You need understanding, insight and someone to dig in with what is going on within all the layers that make you...YOU. We all need help sometimes to work through expected and unexpected life events. You may be surprised at how you are responding or that you are researching treatment options period.
I believe my job as a therapist is to help tap into your most authentic self, and walk alongside you with whatever struggles there may be. My approach to therapy is direct, with the use of humor, analogies, and metaphors; I try to bring every thing together to help make sense in a world that can be confusing. Together we can tackle whatever difficult situation may be occurring in your life and get to the other side.
Whether you’re battling your inner critic, processing trauma, or just trying to survive in a neurotypical or cis-normative world, I’m here to support your growth, healing, and self-discovery. Therapy doesn’t have to be sterile or detached—we can bring your fandoms, creativity, and passions into the room as tools for healing.
Hello! I am so glad you're here.
I invite you to dance with these words as I share a bit more about myself! I am a licensed professional counselor, board-certified dance movement therapist, certified movement specialist & educator, certified professional clinical supervisor, and a certified Chi for Two® Embodiment Coach.
I completed my MA in Dance/Movement Therapy & Counseling from Columbia College Chicago, after teaching dance, working with at-risk youth and performing professionally in England and the Republic of Ireland for several years. I have a passion for music, poetry and gardening, cooking, languages and travel. I am in awe of how richly culture enlivens our energetic dances.
I maintain a private psychotherapy practice, provide clinical supervision, and serve as an educator and public speaker. I am an active member of the American Dance Therapy Association Southern Chapter, and the Atlanta dance community.
After spending 12 years working in the legal field, having 3 children, and ensuring my son with special needs had the support he needed to reach his potential, which he did beautifully, I decided to follow my (other) passion. Went back to school in 2016 to earn my Masters in Social Work, which allowed me to follow my dream - helping people find their voice, their identify, their peace, their power and their ability to grow.

Jami Rieffel, LMFT
Founder & Therapist, CoAuthored Therapy
I believe therapy is most powerful when it feels like a story we write together. I bring a collaborative, narrative-based approach to working with individuals, couples, and families. My goal is to create a space where clients feel both supported and empowered to re-author the stories that shape their lives.
I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University, where I focused on systems theory and narrative practice. Over the years, I’ve worked with diverse populations supporting clients through challenges such as relationship transitions, trauma recovery, and identity exploration.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Georgia. I hold Bachelor’s degrees in Legal Studies and Feminist Studies from the University of California Santa Cruz and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California. My specialty is addressing life transitions, particularly the perinatal spectrum.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 13 years of experience supporting individuals and families of various ages. With my skill set I help clients navigate depression, anxiety, postpartum, family stress, intimate partner violence, crisis interventions, major life transitions and so much more. I provide therapy services and specialize in conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments for individuals seeking mental health evaluation, diagnosis, and support. Helping individuals gain a clearer understanding of their mental health through comprehensive evaluations. I help individuals gain a clearer understanding of their mental health through comprehensive evaluations.
Using clinical diagnostic tools, I evaluate presenting symptoms and provide accurate diagnoses. I gather detailed background information and use evidence-based diagnostic methods to determine the most clinically appropriate diagnosis. During the assessment process, I draw from structured interviews, standardized measures, and clinical observation to gain a comprehensive understanding of each individual’s emotional, behavioral, and psychological functioning. Once the diagnostic evaluation is complete, I provide appropriate referrals tailored to each client’s needs—whether that includes specialized therapy/treatment, psychiatry for medication management/evaluation, or other supportive services. I am committed to helping clients access the right level of care and begin a treatment plan that aligns with their goals, symptoms, and long-term well-being.
To ensure absolute confidence in our partnership, you should know that I operate less like a traditional therapist and more like a psychological strategist. Built specifically for high-achievers accustomed to heavy loads, my approach does not rely on passive listening. Instead, I am highly active, engaged, and direct. I match your cognitive speed, treating your emotional well-being with the same urgency and strategic precision you apply to your most critical professional ventures.
Within our sessions, the usual hierarchies are stripped away to provide a rare ecosystem of utmost discretion and radical candor. Because I am entirely focused on the human being operating the machine, I will gently but firmly challenge your blind spots and call out self-sabotaging logic. You will never hear me hide behind clinical jargon; instead, I translate complex behavioral science into plain, actionable frameworks designed for a logical, analytical mind.
Ultimately, I view myself as a specialized asset in your corner, operating on the principle that insight without execution is just an expensive conversation. Our work prioritizes data and action, ensuring every concept is pressure-tested in the real world—whether in your boardroom, your marriage, or your internal life. My sole objective is to help you optimize your inner world so your outer success is sustainable, fulfilling, and integrated with the people you love.
Hello, I'm Ebony Morish, a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping you on your journey toward healing and positive change. I believe that within each person lies the courage and strength to embark on the path of healing, and it's my privilege to assist you in accessing those inner pieces.
