After spending 12 years working in the legal field, having 3 children, and ensuring my son with special needs had the support he needed to reach his potential, which he did beautifully, I decided to follow my (other) passion. Went back to school in 2016 to earn my Masters in Social Work, which allowed me to follow my dream - helping people find their voice, their identify, their peace, their power and their ability to grow.

My name is Whitney Rudd, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I uses the following approaches to therapy: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered, and Emotionally Focused Therapy interventions. I provide individual, group, family, and couples counseling. My overall goal is to help clients feel supported and to assist them in working towards obtaining peace, healing, and wholeness in their lives.

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist and a Christian Life Coach since 2015, I believe change is very possible. I have been a part of Atlanta’s professional community for over 28 years. My education from Mercer University (a CACREP approved school) with additional experience in intensive marriage and family mediation. I interned with Kathy Steele, an expert on Complex Trauma, PTSD, Dissociation, and other related issues. I focus on person centered therapy and solution focused. to assist in bettering your journey in life. I offer cerified EMDR to help with your past and feeling stuck. Divorce and rentering the dating world is something I have spend years in assisting the tranformation and transition of achieving peace and court readiness with court and child advocacy .
