Hello, I’m Domonique Jackson, LCSW. I have a solo private practice, Full Connections Counseling LLC, in Orange Park, FL. I received my Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University in 2016. I’m currently a licensed social worker in Florida, Georgia, Virginia and South Carolina. I published my first book in 2024 about the positive potential connection between nerd culture and mental health. When I’m not volunteering with the local gaming community, I enjoy playing board games and video games, doing puzzles, gardening and watching anime.
I am a therapist who genuinely loves this work and the people I get to do it with. I work with adults who are navigating big life changes, relationship shifts, and the kind of moments that make you stop and ask "who am I now?" My approach is flexible and collaborative, so we figure out together what you need and how to get there. I work fully virtually, so you can show up to sessions from wherever feels most comfortable for you.
I believe genuine healing springs from feeling fully understood and accepted. In our work together, you'll find a therapist who listens deeply, asks curious questions, and partners with you to uncover pathways toward growth and relief. We co-design your journey based on your goals, values, and strengths.
I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing begins with feeling truly seen and heard. I believe each person's story is rich with meaning and resilience, and therapy should honor your lived experience. Whether you're navigating anxiety, overwhelm, loss, or major life transitions, I meet you where you are with curiosity, respect, and care.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Postpartum Therapist in Atlanta
Finding postpartum therapists in Atlanta starts with looking for care that matches the concerns you want to address. Postpartum support can include postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, birth-related stress, identity shifts, and relationship strain. As you compare therapists, look for listed experience with perinatal mental health, postpartum therapy, or maternal mental health. The PMH-C credential can also signal specialized training in perinatal care.
Atlanta has a wide range of therapists across neighborhoods like Midtown, Buckhead, Decatur, and West End, which can make the search feel broad at first. For new parents, practical fit matters as much as specialty fit. Consider appointment availability, scheduling flexibility, and whether a therapist offers virtual sessions that fit around infant care, physical recovery, or changing routines. Reading therapist bios can help you see how they describe their approach, communication style, and experience with postpartum concerns before you book.
Therapy in Atlanta can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and make ongoing care easier to plan for. Headway lets you search for therapists who match your needs, see whether they accept your insurance, review estimated out-of-pocket costs before booking, and schedule directly when you’re ready.
