Therapy is more than just talking, it is about taking concrete steps toward a more fulfilling life. My work is rooted in self exploration, helping you look inward to better understand, appreciate, and connect with who you truly are. Together, we begin to uncover the patterns, emotions, and experiences that have shaped you. As you make sense of your story with support, new possibilities for growth, choice, and change can start to feel more real and within reach.
Hello! I’m a counselor and I am bilingual in English & Spanish with specialized training in substance use prevention and treatment, and I support individuals, couples, families, children, and teens as they navigate life’s challenges. Many of the people I work with are dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, or difficulties with emotional regulation, and my goal is to offer a space where you feel genuinely understood and supported.
I'm a therapist in private practice based in Florida, working with clients via telehealth from the comfort of my home - golden retrievers included. I've been in the mental health field since 2011, starting with residential treatment for women navigating addiction and dual diagnoses, then outpatient, and now private practice. I work with adults dealing with anxiety, life transitions, and the kind of stress that piles up when everything seems to be happening at once - and I bring warmth, humor, and a whole lot of genuine care to every session.
My experience centers on supporting clients of all ages through a wide range of life challenges. Guided by a solution-focused perspective, I believe holistic healing is a foundational part of effective client care. I am trained in EMDR, a therapeutic modality that helps clients process trauma and other difficult life experiences that may interfere with personal growth, relationships, and mental health. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and other concerns that can make it difficult to feel grounded or move forward. I hold a master’s degree from Colorado Christian University and have received training in both play therapy and EMDR. I have also worked with clients experiencing dual diagnoses within the field of substance use disorders, which has deepened my understanding of the connection between emotional pain, coping, and healing.
I am a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in mental health and primary care, committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. I earned my advanced practice degree from Wilkes University and have experience working with diverse populations across various clinical settings.
My approach is collaborative and holistic—I believe in treating the whole person, not just symptoms. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and life transitions. I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I utilize evidence-based treatments, including medication management when appropriate, and incorporate supportive and solution-focused approaches tailored to each individual’s needs. My goal is to help clients achieve stability, improve daily functioning, and enhance their overall quality of life.
I understand that seeking help can be a big step, and I am here to support you throughout your journey with respect, empathy, and professionalism.
