Thank you for reaching out to me today! I am here to listen and to help. I am licensed to practice professional counseling in Florida and Missouri with a specialty in addictions and co-occurring disorders. I have been assisting clients since 2011, but in recent years my primary focus is with adults ages 18 and older.
You don't have to have it all figured out to start. There is no right or wrong place to begin.
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I'm also a Certified School Counselor — which means I've spent decades not just in therapy offices, but inside schools, alongside kids and families navigating the real, daily pressures of growing up, parenting, and finding your way.
That breadth of experience shapes everything about how I work. I understand what it looks like when anxiety shows up in a classroom, when ADHD affects a family's daily life, or when an eating disorder hides behind achievement. And I know how to create a space where children, teens, and adults alike feel safe enough to actually open up.
I am a clinical psychologist driven by a deep sense of empathy and a genuine curiosity about human behavior and the motivations that shape our lives. I strive to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood without judgment. My approach is grounded in authenticity, both in how I show up and in how I support others in reconnecting with their own genuine selves. I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding, and I am committed to walking alongside each person as they explore their experiences, build insight, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Hi, Im Dr. Christopher Sanchez. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel heard, respected, and supported. I work primarily with adults and specialize in health psychology, using a biopsychosocial perspective to understand the connection between physical health, emotions, and daily life. I specialize in supporting adults navigating Anxiety, ADD/ADHD, Depression, Sleep disorder, and Stress management. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches, I provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative and nonjudgmental environment where clients can build resilience and create meaningful, lasting change.
I have a heart for walking with people who are looking for someone to listen and care about their unique circumstances. I work with both couples and individuals; some specializations include marital counseling, grief, addiction, anxiety, depression, spiritual/existential discernment, trauma, suicidal ideation, family dysfunction, and career counseling.
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for something to change? You don’t have to figure it out alone. I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges who want more clarity, balance, and confidence. Together, we’ll untangle what’s been weighing on you and create a path forward that feels realistic and empowering. Therapy can be a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to move toward lasting change—at your own pace.
Taking the step to seek mental health support can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to do it alone.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and complex mental health needs.
I have experience working across high-acuity hospital settings, partial hospitalization programs, and community-based care, which allows me to support individuals through both everyday challenges and more complex clinical situations. My goal is to create a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and respected.
Clients should know that I’m down-to-earth, non-judgmental, and a genuine person. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be real—no masks, no pressure, no shame. I bring warmth and care into the room, along with a sense of humor when it’s helpful, because healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy to be meaningful.
I’m also solution-focused and collaborative. That means we’ll spend time understanding what’s going on, but we won’t get stuck there. We’ll work together to identify practical tools, coping strategies, and small, realistic steps that can help you feel better in your day-to-day life. Above all, I care deeply about meeting you where you are and supporting you in a way that feels respectful, empowering, and aligned with your goals.
