Hi! I'm Jennifer. I primarily work with older children, preteens, adolescents, and adults. I have been a Counselor for the past 11 years at the same practice in Satellite Beach, Florida. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 4 years of experience, I support adults through some of life's most challenging and transformative moments. My background in hospice and end-of-life care has given me the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families facing grief, chronic illness, caregiver stress, and major life transitions. These experiences have reinforced my belief that while we cannot change the past, we can change how we understand it, respond to it, and move forward.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe therapy isn't about fixing who you are—it's about helping you recognize your strengths, gain new perspectives, and create meaningful change. Together, we'll build practical tools that help you navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and hope.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, stress, caregiver concerns, chronic health conditions, and life transitions. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based interventions, tailoring therapy to your unique needs and goals.
My philosophy is simple: your past explains you, but it does not define you. Healing begins by acknowledging your story, recognizing the strengths you already possess, and believing that meaningful change is possible. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you create a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and fulfilling.

“My counseling style has developed over time to become one that does not spend time dredging up the past or spending time talking about the past session after session. This approach focuses on finding solutions for today and the future and keeps you on your new path while discouraging looking back because you are not going that way”.
