Hi, I’m Alvis — a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Gainesville, FL.

Before counseling, I spent years in the health and fitness industry in New York City, helping clients who felt stuck or overmatched in their goals. I later trained in spiritual wellness at St. Andrew’s Church here in Gainesville. Both experiences taught me the same lesson: real growth means working with mind, body, and spirit together. It brings me immense joy to see my clients go from stuck to flourishing.

For more than twenty years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside adolescents, adults, and couples during some of the most difficult and meaningful seasons of their lives. Jamilah Vega is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing, and her Master's of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. She has more than 10 years of combined experience across various areas of nursing including behavioral health, corrections, and hospice. Jamilah has experience caring for patients of all ages. She specializes in multiple mental health disorders some of which include anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and Bipolar Disorder.
