I am an experienced psychotherapist in private practice for 15 years. I provide couples, family and individual therapy. As a couples therapist, I see couples that have destructive unhealthy and ineffective commuication patterns. Their inability to communicate effectively will lead to further deterioration with unresolved conflicts in their relationship, I also work with individual's who experience Anxiety, and depression. Sometimes, we just don't know why you feel sad, depressed or out of sorts

I am the founder of Nova Counseling Services, I have Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Barry University. As a licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida, Pilar’s career began in child welfare and family reunification with the Department of Children and Families. With a focus on dual diagnosis and substance use treatment, she is a Certified Addiction Professional and a qualified supervisor for social work interns.

I am a Salvadoran-American Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides individual, family and group therapy in English and Spanish. I received my Master of Social Work from Columbia University and have had the privilege of empowering clients for over 12 years. I also love to teach and serve as Adjunct Faculty at FIU School of Social Work.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to podcasts and stand-up comedy, dancing Zumba, and reading fiction.

With over 25 years of experience as an addiction specialist, and a graduate of Nova Southeastern University specializing in Child and Youth Studies, he is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among his areas of expertise are substance and alcohol abuse, internet gambling, relationship problems, parenting and family issues.

He is a Licensed Psychotherapist and APA Board Certified in Professional Counseling; has a doctorate in Child and Youth Studies from Nova Southeastern University ’s Fischler Graduate School of Education and Human Services and a master’s in Mental Health Counseling; a specialist in the field of addictions, is certified in Addictions Counseling from the University of Miami; is a Certified Addictions Professional (C.A.P.) since 1994 and a Fellow of the American Psychotherapy Association. He is a member of the American Counseling Association.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical specialist ( ASDCS) and Certified Dementia Practitioner . I enjoy working with our most vulnerable populations. I empower seniors, children and families by employing evidenced based interventions. I work with individuals, special needs children and families in the area of depression, anxiety, stress management and adjusting to life changes. I utilize humor to foster and strengthen the therapeutic alliance.

I am a licensed mental health counselor with a combined seven years of experience in the mental health field (including three years of clinical supervisory experience), where I have been providing care to clients in multiple agencies throughout the state of Florida, utilizing clinical models to improve patient care and drive positive clinical outcomes. I have worked with diverse client populations and multiple diagnoses (anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorders, etc.) throughout the years, including serving young children through older adults.
