My passion has always been to work with individuals to increase their overall happiness, build upon their strengths, and encourage them to never give up on their goals.
I have a relaxed and goal-oriented approach to therapy. I'll show up for you how you need to be supported. I will always be honest and challenge you to reach your goals. I am friendly and warm and hold no judgments toward my clients. We can have open communication about what works vs what does not work for you.
Hello, I’m Cara, a licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree in social work. My approach is warm, down‐to‐earth, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it feels genuine and human. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and use practical, evidence‐based tools like coping strategies, mindset shifts, and boundary work. I make space for humor and real connection, combining these skills with deeper exploration of patterns, self‐compassion, and emotional insight to support lasting, meaningful change.
I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, heard, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. With experience in community mental health, I support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions, with a particular interest in women’s mental health, including pregnancy and postpartum experiences. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Central Connecticut State University and my Master of Social Work from Fordham University in New York City. My approach is collaborative and conversational, with a focus on helping clients recognize their strengths, develop coping skills, and work toward meaningful personal growth. I believe everyone deserves to feel understood and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.
Hello, and welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care. My practice focuses on supporting young and middle-aged adults experiencing depression, trauma, anxiety, ADHD symptoms, and life transitions, as well as working mothers and new moms balancing the demands of family, career, and personal well-being.
Welcome to my practice! My name is Nichola Lydon, and I’m excited to work with you. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), and Certified Peer Recovery Specialist. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Montclair State University.
With over six years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals facing a wide range of challenges—including substance use disorders, perinatal mood disorders, and the overwhelming stressors of daily life. Whether you’re struggling with substance use dependency, navigating a difficult transition, or feeling stuck, I’m here to help.
My approach is honest, direct, and always rooted in compassion. I believe in having the tough conversations without judgment—because healing starts with truth, not sugarcoating. My practice is a safe, stigma-free space, where you can feel supported, heard, and empowered to create meaningful change.
If you're ready to do the work, face challenges head-on, and build a more resilient life, I’m ready to walk alongside you every step of the way.
Let’s begin your journey toward healing and growth—together.
