I’m a Licensed Couples & Family Therapist and the founder of a virtual private practice serving clients in Washington and Idaho. My background is rooted in systems theory, which means I consider how family, cultural, and social dynamics shape your experiences and well-being. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and stress or anxiety. My work is grounded in creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you move toward meaningful change.
I’m Tara Garland, and I will connect with you to work through and support you on any struggles or challenges you are going through—helping you turn them into healing and strength. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors who may be managing anger, anxiety, depression, family issues, grief, and loss. I also support clients experiencing trauma, stress management challenges, sleep or panic disorders, OCD, ADD/ADHD, relationship or identity issues, and women’s issues. My goal is to help you find balance, relief, and the confidence to move forward in your life.
I've spent 15 years helping people stop circling the same patterns and actually change them. I'm warm, direct and honest - I'll hold space for your pain and challenge you to move through it. We won't just manage symptoms, we'll go deep to the root. I'll help you see yourself clearly, sit with what is hard, and build something different.
I'm a holistic practitioner who considers a whole person perspective. I originally graduated from Aspen University in 2019 with my Masters in Psychology and Addiction studies. Then I pursued my Doctorate degree in Metaphysical Humanism with a specialization in Kvantum Energy Healing ftom the International Church of Metaphysical Humanism as well as became a clinical Hypnotherapist from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute.
I’m a licensed psychologist with more than three decades of experience in psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and trauma-informed care. My background includes extensive work with adults, adolescents, and children across private practice, medical settings, and the VA’s PTSD clinic, where I provided both treatment and disability evaluations. I completed my doctorate at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in an APA-approved Counseling Psychology program and an APA-accredited internship with broad training in assessment, psychotherapy, and multidisciplinary collaboration. I specialize in trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, dissociation, family-of-origin issues, and helping people untangle long-standing patterns that keep them stuck. My style is warm, open-minded, and direct, meeting people right where they are while helping them move toward where they want to be.
I provide online individual, couples, and family therapy using a relational and narrative approach through Pinehurst Relationships Seattle. Based out of the Pinehurst neighborhood (98125) of North Seattle—right next door to Shoreline and Northgate—my telehealth services are available to clients throughout all of Washington State.
My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that our lives and relationships are deeply connected to the world around us. When a family dynamic feels tense, a couple loses their shared intimacy, or a child or teen gets stuck in a repetitive, draining loop, modern macro-stressors, grief, and overwhelm are usually magnifying the strain. I work to help you break the cyclical patterns that leave your relationships running on empty. If your primary bonds feel overwhelmed right now, you don't have to navigate it alone.
Education and experience: I hold a BA from the University of Washington (1985) and an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch Seattle (2022). My clinical roots include a dedicated internship in community mental health in Edmonds and an associate residency at a Seattle group practice. Outside the office, I recharge by gardening, walking with my partner, and heading out on PNW trail adventures with our hiking cat, Jasper.
I am accepting new clients! Immediate availability!

It's become too much! I’m here to tell you that not only is it okay to need help, helping people uncover what’s underneath the stress and create a life filled with joy is my jam! Together we will work to untangle those racing thoughts and patterns that keep your nervous system on high alert, then develop skills and boundaries that help you feel steadier in real life.
¡Hola! I'm Leidy, a bilingual (English and Spanish) therapist. I work with adults navigating major life transitions, grief and loss, fertility issues, anxiety, depression, PTSD, family transitions and more. Many of the people I work with are in the middle of something big, whether that's a loss, a shift in their family, a fertility journey, or simply a season of life that feels heavier than expected, and they're looking for a space where they can finally exhale.
I'm originally from the Dominican Republic, and Spanish is my first language. As an immigrant myself, I understand what it's like to navigate multiple worlds, identities, and expectations. I'm also the proud parent of a son with autism, so I know firsthand what it's like to walk through major life transitions, advocate for your family, and find strength you didn't know you had. These experiences shape the way I show up for my clients every day.
My background is rooted in community work. I spent years in non-profit organizations supporting diverse communities, and that experience taught me the importance of meeting people where they are, honoring their culture, language, strengths, and identities. I believe in creating individualized treatment plans that reflect the whole of who you are.

- New mothers and parents of all genders in nurturing their own well being through the world-upending transition to parenthood
- Parents at all stages facing the myriad pressures and stressors of modern life

After getting my master's in counseling psychology decades ago, there has been a strong focus in helping others process through trauma, depression, anxiety and other mental health symptoms getting in the way of living one's best life, I am a licensed mental health counselor who uses several skills and techniques to help people heal.
Hi there, my name is Lee. I am a bi-racial, first-generation Vietnamese-American, and I believe the best therapy happens when we bring our full, authentic selves into the room. My goal is to truly understand and connect, offering a space filled with warmth, radical acceptance, clear accountability, and—fair warning—the occasional painful dad joke.
