My background includes experience as an outpatient psychiatric provider, inpatient psychiatric registered nurse, and in community reproductive health, allowing me to bring a broad and well-rounded perspective to the care I provide. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology, which have shaped my understanding of the many varying factors that impact mental health.

Hi, I’m Jody. I have a master’s degree in clinical social work and am a licensed clinical social worker. I’ve been working as a clinician for the past 8 years in a community outpatient mental health agency.

I specialize in substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

I have a background in women’s mental health including relationships and parenting.

I am a caring therapist that put my patients first. I am a cognitive therapist and work with patient introducing them to having thoughts that bring on feelings that eventually lead to behavior.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Walden University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Norfolk State University. My clinical experience spans emergency departments, hospitals, and community-based behavioral health settings, where I have supported adults navigating depression, anxiety, life transitions, substance use concerns, and complex medical or psychiatric challenges.
