Hi, I’m Jody. I have a master’s degree in clinical social work and am a licensed clinical social worker. I’ve been working as a clinician for the past 8 years in a community outpatient mental health agency.

I specialize in substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

I have a background in women’s mental health including relationships and parenting.

I have practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2012 and I also hold the license for Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner.

My approach is rooted in the belief that while the work of untangling our lives is deeply structural, the room itself doesn't always have to feel heavy. I bring a grounded warmth to my practice—which means knowing how to sit quietly in the gravity of a difficult truth, but also knowing when to break the tension, exhale, and find the light in the sheer complexity of being human. I won’t just sit in silence while you do all the heavy lifting; I am an active collaborator who adapts to exactly where you are.

I specialize in Anxiety, ADHD, Depression, PTSD, Panic disorder and mood disorders. I also offer ADHD testing for children and adults online and in-person. I offer both medication management and therapy.

I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with training in both primary care and psychiatric mental health. I have extensive experience providing care in community, correctional, and integrated care settings, where I work with individuals managing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other mental health concerns.

I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and respected. I value thoughtful assessment, clear communication, and collaborative decision-making to help clients better understand their symptoms and treatment options. My goal is to partner with each client to develop a personalized care plan that supports both mental and overall well-being.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience working with diverse populations in mental health clinical settings, providing psychotherapy and crisis intervention to individuals, couples, families, and groups. I help people work through trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and the stress that comes with major life transitions, using a supportive, practical approach tailored to their needs and cultural background. Many of the people I see are also navigating relationship issues or family conflict alongside these struggles, and I meet them where they are.

As a licensed counselor with over 15 years of experience, I have worked in a variety of different settings with those struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. I graduated from Liberty University with a master's in counseling and practice as a licensed professional counselor as well as a licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner. I have worked in outpatient and inpatient settings.
