Hello, I’m Katlyn Hash, but you can call me Katie. Before diving into my professional background, I’d like to share a little about myself. I’m a proud pet owner, with a 27-year-old turtle named Speedy, along with my three cats—Stella, Mufasa, and Toothless—and my energetic puppy, Piper.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and Counseling in 2020 and later earned my Master of Education in Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College in May 2023. Having personally experienced the complexities of childhood trauma, I am deeply passionate about helping others overcome similar challenges with compassion and understanding

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience working with diverse populations in mental health clinical settings, providing psychotherapy and crisis intervention to individuals, couples, families, and groups. I help people work through trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and the stress that comes with major life transitions, using a supportive, practical approach tailored to their needs and cultural background. Many of the people I see are also navigating relationship issues or family conflict alongside these struggles, and I meet them where they are.

As a licensed counselor with over 15 years of experience, I have worked in a variety of different settings with those struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. I graduated from Liberty University with a master's in counseling and practice as a licensed professional counselor as well as a licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner. I have worked in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Assisting all people to discover their maximum potential and overcome barriers to their emotional, psychological and spiritual well being is my life's work. My approach is informed by a non-judgmental challenge to self and the environment that in unlocking potential no matter your age, gender, ethnicity, or economic background.
