My goal as a professional counselor is to build a warm, open, authentic, non-judgmental partnership with my clients. My counseling experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults. Life is a continuous process of becoming, yet it's easy to feel a disconnect between where you are and where you truly want to be. If you're overwhelmed by intense emotions, feeling stuck, or constantly questioning your worth, please know that your feelings are valid, and that you deserve a space to process them.
I bring both clinical depth and lived experience to the therapeutic space. My academic training in the PhD program in Counseling at the University of North Texas gave me the foundational tools for my practice; my experience as an immigrant parent of two young children is what refined them. Navigating these overlapping worlds has given me a real understanding of the mental load of adulthood: the constant sense of being pulled in a dozen directions at once. In our sessions, I offer a warm, grounded space where you can set down the pressure to have it all figured out and focus on what you actually need to feel supported.
