Hi, I’m Alyson—a behavioral health professional who believes that thoughtful care starts with clear communication and compassionate support. I specialize in making therapy approachable and effective through well-crafted documentation, creative client resources, and collaborative care planning.
I’m especially passionate about integrating tools like pharmacogenomic testing and psychoeducation to help clients make informed choices about their care. If you’re looking for someone who values both structure and heart in the therapy process, I’m here to support you.
With over 25 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating grief and loss, life transitions, chronic illness, trauma (including first responders), aging-related concerns, and members of the agricultural and farming communities.
I provide telehealth services across multiple states, I’m here to support you on your journey toward healing and growth.
If you feel like you don't quite recognize yourself anymore, mood swings that come out of nowhere, anxiety that wasn't there before, old wounds resurfacing you thought you'd already dealt with, you're not imagining it, and you're not alone in it. I work with women navigating the hormonal and identity shifts of midlife, including perimenopause and menopause, helping you understand what's happening beneath the surface so we can do more than just manage symptoms, and actually get to what's underneath them. I'm a licensed professional counselor (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee with a master's in clinical mental health counseling and training in EMDR, DBT, CBT, EFT, and Motivational Interviewing. I bring experience from private practice, clinical roles in group practice, and residential treatment work for substance abuse."
I am Victoria Cruse Motter, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of issues, including family conflicts, anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, sexual abuse, substance use, chronic stress, trauma and PTSD, and women’s issues. My background includes providing counseling in various settings, such as schools, autism centers, pre-schools, juvenile justice programs, and residential group homes for youth in CYS custody. I earned my Master's Degree in Counseling from Pennsylvania State University.
I have a broad variety of therapeutic experience to include crisis intervention and trauma informed care. I received my master's degree in professional counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and have been practicing in the field for over 10yrs.
In 1986, my journey in the field of human services began, fueled by a lifelong passion for helping others. Majoring in the Human Services concentration at high school laid the groundwork for my unwavering commitment to this mission.
Upon earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Science with a counseling specialty, my formal training commenced in 2002. Over the years, I've gained extensive experience and expertise, working in diverse settings. Anxiety, stress, worry, uncertainty, addictions and fear don't have to define your life. With over 16 years of clinical experience, I help individuals, couples, and families identify the beliefs, thought patterns, and automatic behaviors that keep them feeling stuck.
I’ve got tools to help you feel more balanced and in control! I work with adults and I’m passionate about supporting first responders (IAFF-trained and always learning!) and anyone navigating addiction. I have a masters in clinical counseling with a specialization in trauma and addiction. Think of me as your partner in creating calm, confidence, and positive change—in a totally judgment-free zone.
