Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply not like yourself anymore? Perhaps you're constantly worrying, overthinking, avoiding situations that once felt manageable, or struggling to move beyond painful experiences. You don't have to figure it out alone.
I'm a clinical psychologist with more than 15 years of experience helping adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, depression, trauma, addiction, health-related concerns, and difficult life transitions. I especially enjoy helping people who feel trapped in cycles of fear, worry, avoidance, self-doubt, or unhealthy patterns affecting their relationships, confidence, and quality of life.
My approach goes beyond simply talking about your problems. I believe therapy should help you understand yourself more deeply while giving you practical tools to create lasting, meaningful change. Together, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck, work through difficult experiences, and develop strategies to help you feel more confident, capable, and in control.
My style is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I tailor treatment to your needs using evidence-based approaches, including CBT, ACT, EMDR, exposure therapy, mindfulness, and Positive Psychology. As a health psychologist, I also recognize the important connection between emotional and physical well-being.
My experience spans private practice, psychiatric settings, substance use treatment, functional medicine, and college counseling. I earned my degrees from Northwestern University and the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and also teach graduate-level psychology courses.
You deserve to feel better, and meaningful change is possible. Whether you're hoping to overcome anxiety, heal from painful experiences, build confidence, or reconnect with yourself, my goal is to help you feel genuinely understood, supported, and empowered to move forward.
I’m a dual certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides thoughtful, individualized medication management for anxiety, depression, and mood-related concerns. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when your mind isn’t working the way you want it to. I specialize in mood disorders, ADHD, addiction, anxiety and PTSD across the lifespan
Hi, I’m Hannah! Born and raised in North Carolina and proud graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I earned my Master’s in Social Work in 2022 and in VA undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2018.
For the past six years, I’ve worked in community mental health and have spent nearly two years in private practice. I’ve supported teens and adults through crisis, addiction, suicide prevention, trauma, and life transitions and I genuinely care about helping people feel steady, understood, and empowered again.
My approach blends evidence-based therapies like CBT, trauma-focused work, EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, and somatic interventions. That means we don’t just talk about what’s hard we build practical tools, process what’s been weighing on you, and create real movement forward.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for change, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in compassion. I would truly be honored to walk alongside you in this season.
Hi! My name is Amanda, I graduated with my Masters in Family Therapy from Drexel University in 2016. Since then, I have worked with a variety of individuals, couples, and families. I am trained in family systems therapy, collaborative problem solving, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and emotion-focused therapy, as well as several other treatment modalities.
I believe therapy works best when you don’t have to carry everything by yourself. We all carry things with us—our histories, relationships, expectations, losses, responsibilities, and the stories we’ve learned to tell about ourselves. Sometimes the things we’ve learned to carry help us move through life; other times, they become heavier than we realized. Therapy can be a place to slow down, understand what you’re carrying, and decide what you want to keep, what you might be ready to set down, and what you may need help carrying.
You don’t need to come to therapy with everything figured out. We can start wherever you are and work from there. My role isn’t to tell you what you should do, but to help you understand yourself more clearly, make sense of the patterns that keep showing up, and find a way forward that feels genuinely like your own.
If you understand why you feel the way you do but still can’t seem to change the patterns keeping you stuck, therapy can go deeper than simply talking about what’s wrong.
Hi, I’m Emily Burgess, LCSW, PMH-C, CMNCS, owner of Conduit Counseling Collective. I work with clients who may look like they’re functioning well on the outside but internally feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in old patterns, or exhausted from holding everything together.
My approach is warm, practical, collaborative, and whole-person focused. We’ll make space to understand your story and where your patterns came from—but we won’t stop there. I believe insight is most helpful when it leads to meaningful change in everyday life.
My work integrates evidence-based therapy with parts work, somatic approaches, nervous system regulation, and the connection between mental and physical wellbeing. When appropriate, we may explore how sleep, movement, nutrition, stress, relationships, and daily rhythms are impacting the way you feel. Mental health doesn’t exist separately from the rest of your body or your life.
I’ve worked in mental health since 2013 and have specialized experience in anxiety, life transitions, women’s mental health, and perinatal mental health.
Therapy with me is supportive, but it’s also active. I’ll bring curiosity, compassion, perspective, accountability—and probably some humor. You don’t need to have the right words or show up with everything figured out.
My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build trust in yourself, and turn insight into change that actually carries into your life.
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with six years of experience helping adults navigate ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, substance use concerns, and personality disorders. I trained at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and have a background in neuroscience research, which shapes my practical, brain-based approach to care.
I believe people do best when they’re treated as whole humans—not just a diagnosis. I enjoy breaking down complex mental health concepts into clear, bite-sized explanations so patients understand why they feel the way they do and how treatment helps. My style is collaborative, direct, and supportive.
I’m comfortable working with complex or long-standing symptoms and don’t shy away from difficult cases. I also enjoy working with creatives in the Nashville community and understand the unique pressures that can come with creative work. My goal is to help patients feel empowered, informed, and supported as they move toward meaningful, sustainable change.
