I am a husband, a father of two adult children, and a corgi dad. I am not a true Mainer as I moved here about 4 years ago from Pennsylvania where I spent most of my life. But, I have adopted Maine as my own. I love the outdoors and spend as much time as I can in them.
As far as the more formal stuff, I spent a lot of time in school. My credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ursinus College, a Masters of Education in Counseling from Rutgers University, an Executive Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from California Pacific University, a Masters and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Juris Doctorate in Law all from Widener University.
I have 20+ years management experience in behavioral health, managed care, academia and private practice settings. I have run my private practice for more than 30 years, have been a program administrator, corporate compliance/privacy officer, clinical director, program chairperson, and director of quality management during my career. I have taught at more than 20 colleges and universities. I have advised, supervised, trained, and taught hundreds of graduate students and professional counselors. Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether you're struggling with anxiety, relationship challenges, family conflict, stress, or simply feeling stuck. You don't have to navigate those challenges alone. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my goal is to provide a supportive, compassionate space where you feel comfortable being yourself and working toward meaningful change.
I know reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, and finding the right fit matters. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, stress, feeling stuck, relationship challenges, life transitions, overwhelming emotions, or patterns that no longer feel helpful, therapy can be a place to slow down and better understand what’s going on.
I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable showing up as yourself. Clients often describe me as compassionate, down to earth, and easy to talk to. Together, we’ll work to better understand what’s keeping you stuck, build practical tools, and create meaningful changes that feel realistic and aligned with your goals.

Hi, nice to meet you!
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with a heart for walking alongside others while they work through difficulties in life. I believe everyone is valuable, worthy, and deserves to have support when they need it most. I hope to give you a safe, non-judgmental environment to work through any challenges you are facing, whether that be life changes, trauma, betrayal trauma, unwanted sexual behaviors and integrity, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, relationship struggles, or a need to learn and set boundaries.
There is no reason too small or too large to seek guidance. I believe that everyone's feelings have value & deserve worth! I am a kickboxer & dance teacher outside of therapy & value the power of creativity & youthfulness to foster a mindful, balanced lifestyle.
I believe every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and positive change. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan, serving clients from age 5 through older adulthood (100+). I work collaboratively with each client to build on their strengths, foster personal growth, and support meaningful, lasting change.
