My name is Heather Phelps, owner of HLP Wellness Solutions, Licensed Professional Counselor, and CAADC ( Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor). I am a seasoned clinician having worked in all aspects of intensity in behavioral health; detox, residential, partial hospital, intensive outpatient, and general outpatient. I have experience working with substance use disorders, behavioral addictions, anxiety, codependency, depression, trauma, first responders, personality disorders, and mood disorders. Hi, I’m Jennifer Kottler, a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I’m passionate about supporting individuals facing challenges such as addiction (including Medication-Assisted Treatment), substance use disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, OCD, and psychosis. My approach is collaborative—we’ll work together to create a care plan that truly fits your needs and goals.

A bit about my background: I’m a graduate of Wilkes University, and most of my nursing career has been dedicated to addiction and mental health. I decided to become a PMHNP because I wanted to make a bigger impact for my patients. In my first year as a PMHNP, I helped launch an MAT program and served as the main provider. Today, my practice focuses on mental health, and I plan to expand addiction services in the future.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. I received my Masters of Social Services from The Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research at Bryn Mawr College (2019). I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Binghamton University, SUNY (2012). I am trained and have been certified as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (2021). I am certified in Yoga RYT-200(2014), and in Reiki 1 and 2 (2012).

I have a M.S. Mental Health Counseling graduate degree with a specialization in Substance Abuse Disorder, a M.A. Psychology graduate degree and an undergraduate B.A. Psychology degree.

I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, detox and rehab facilities, outpatient PCP and IOP mental health and individual private practice. I have worked with a range of different clients from many different backgrounds and ages (children, preteen, teen, adult and elderly).
