My approach is laid back and client-led, allowing you to dictate the direction of your therapy based on what feels most important to you. I don’t come in with a rigid agenda or a one-size-fits-all plan. Instead, I’m here to listen, support, and gently guide you as you work toward the areas of growth and healing you want to focus on. Together, we’ll move at your pace, building insight, skills, and confidence in a way that feels authentic and meaningful to you. Evening and Saturday appointment available.
After four decades of psychiatric nursing, I transitioned to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner because I am passionate about providing mental health counseling to help people live their best lives. My experience encompasses working with a diverse range of patients facing both acute and chronic mental and behavioral health conditions. In my spare time, I enjoy various fiber arts, and spending time outdoors playing in the dirt. I am married to an amazing man who retired after a long career as a psychiatric social worker. Together, we have seven children and nine absolutely incredible grandchildren.
I believe in meeting people where they are at and building from there. We are all unique and empowering one to be their best is my goal.
