My name is Ariel. I’m a queer-aligning, trauma-informed licensed art therapist and professional counselor, offering virtual and in-person sessions that fit your schedule.

Whether you’re struggling with communication, emotional intimacy, or life challenges, I’m here to help. My approach focuses on strengthening relationships by fostering a deeper connections, improving communication, and helping you understand both yourself and each other’s emotional needs.

I am proud to work with fellow healthcare professionals, individuals from different cultural backgrounds, individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, and anyone who is new to therapy or has tried therapy before but without success. I believe in meeting clients where they are. I view my job as being your guide to better manage symptoms that represent barriers to you moving forward in your life, following a path determined by your personal values.

I'm a certified nurse practitioner of 11 years. I've been caring for patients with psychiatric conditions for the past 6 years. My goal is to create a space where you can be open, honest, and as expressive as you need to be.

I am a therapist that is focused on helping people with sex and sexuality issues. I am currently a member of AASECT (American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors , and Therapists. I am open minded, solution-oriented, and compassionate towards clients.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri, and I recently started a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. I have lived experience with many things, so I understand trauma, and I'm open about my own mental health to help end the stigma around talking about it. In my wheelhouse is working with individuals, families, and children ages 6 and up. A little about me: yes, my name is really Kitten. I'm a mom to a daughter on the autism spectrum and to three dachshunds with larger-than-life personalities.

I've been doing this work for over 20 years — not because it's a career, but because I genuinely believe that understanding yourself changes everything. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, certified hypnotherapist, and trained in neuropsychotherapy and mindfulness-based approaches. My focus is women and adolescent girls who are ready to go beyond symptom management and understand the deeper emotional patterns shaping their lives. I work with clients in Missouri via telehealth and see in-person clients in the Dexter area. I'm not a fit for everyone — I'm a fit for people who are ready to do real work.
