A bit about my educational journey: Upon Graduating from High School in Oregon, I headed East. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Communication Studies from Emerson College in Boston where I minored in Psychology. My Masters in Clinical Mental Health came years later from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.

I am a licensed mental health counselor, and in recent years, my practice has evolved to focus on the issues of depression, anxiety, and trauma. I treat clients of all ages, but my special interest in working with individuals in highly stressful work\school environments.

I am a dedicated psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in both acute care and psychiatric nursing. In my practice, I believe that understanding your issues is the first step toward healing. I take the time to truly listen to your experiences, validating your feelings, and recognizing the weight of what you’re going through. With a holistic approach to psychiatric and medical management, I specialize in the medication management of ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, Trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression, and Insomnia. Together, we’ll work to help you find the balance and peace you deserve.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings, providing comprehensive mental health care across diverse populations. My background includes extensive work in behavioral health emergency settings, partial hospitalizations, IOP, recovery care, community psychiatric care. I also have experience supporting dually diagnosed patients with co-occurring medical conditions, giving me a broad perspective on the complex interplay between mental and physical health.

I earned my PMHNP degree from Post University and hold PMHNP licensure in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to evidence-based care, while continuously seeking opportunities for professional development and growth in the mental health field.

I have been in human services for over 30 years. I am see individuals over 21 years of age. I am an LICSW and accept most insurances. Most of my experience is in trauma, substance abuse, anxiety and relational issues

I have been in the field of Social Work for over 25 years. Over these years I have had the pleasure of working with adults and older adults dealing with everything from life transitions, depression, anxiety, and alcohol abuse to major mental illness and end of life issues. I enjoy using my educational and personal life experience to inform my practice.
