As your therapist I will work alongside you to help you learn to identify your emotions, learn healthy ways to express yourself, and healthy and effective ways of communicating with others. Together we will also identify your strengths as well as possible unhealthy thinking or behavioral patterns and how they relate to your everyday experiences and emotions.

A bit about my educational journey: Upon Graduating from High School in Oregon, I headed East. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Communication Studies from Emerson College in Boston where I minored in Psychology. My Masters in Clinical Mental Health came years later from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.

I am a licensed mental health counselor, and in recent years, my practice has evolved to focus on the issues of depression, anxiety, and trauma. I treat clients of all ages, but my special interest in working with individuals in highly stressful work\school environments.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings, providing comprehensive mental health care across diverse populations. My background includes extensive work in behavioral health emergency settings, partial hospitalizations, IOP, recovery care, community psychiatric care. I also have experience supporting dually diagnosed patients with co-occurring medical conditions, giving me a broad perspective on the complex interplay between mental and physical health.

I earned my PMHNP degree from Post University and hold PMHNP licensure in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to evidence-based care, while continuously seeking opportunities for professional development and growth in the mental health field.

I have been in human services for over 30 years. I am see individuals over 21 years of age. I am an LICSW and accept most insurances. Most of my experience is in trauma, substance abuse, anxiety and relational issues

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts with over 30 years of clinical experience across some of the most demanding settings in the field, including inpatient and crisis care, women's addiction treatment, school counseling, and long-term individual therapy. I am also a certified Christian counselor, which means I welcome clients who want faith to be part of their healing without it feeling forced or out of place. My work has taken me from evaluating and triaging crisis intervention, individual and group long term therapy, directing a residential substance use program and supporting students with learning, developmental and adjustment challenges. Through it all, one thing has stayed the same: I genuinely care about the people sitting across from me. I bring an authentic, compassionate, and patient presence to every session. I am passionate about my helping others and I am not the kind of therapist who watches the clock.
