I have been a small-town private practitioner in Idaho for many years doing lots of different kinds of therapies and evaluations. I believe I am able to connect with the patients and help them in ways they find meaningful.
I believe therapy should be a dynamic, collaborative process that yields real-world results. My Therapeutic Toolkit: Evidence-Based & Proactive
I don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach. I blend several powerful, evidence-based modalities to help you achieve your goals quickly and effectively:
- ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy): A specialized approach for trauma and PTSD that uses eye movements to "reprogram" distressing memories and sensations, often providing relief in just a few sessions.
- CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): We will work together to identify and shift the thought patterns that keep you stuck in cycles of anxiety or depression.
- DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy): I provide practical skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and improving relationships—giving you a "manual" for navigating life's hardest moments.
I earned a Masters degree from Northwest Nazarene University in clinical counseling in 2014. I am currently licensed in the state of Idaho and Montana. I have been a TBRI® Practitioner since 2015 and TBRI® Educator since 2017 working with families with kids from hard places. I am trained in clinical supervision and clinical ethics as well. I am trained in the use of neurofeedback equipment including brain mapping and brain training sessions since 2021, and have been Board Certified through BCIA since 2025. I want to make all feel welcome and valued. I strive to create a safe space where my clients can feel heard and cared for. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, or carrying stress that just won’t seem to let up — you’re not alone. It can be exhausting trying to keep everything together while quietly struggling on the inside. Therapy can be a place where you finally feel supported, understood, and able to breathe again.

Some pain doesn't get easier with time. It just gets more familiar.
I work with people who have been carrying something heavy for a long time: survivors of childhood neglect and trauma, people navigating the aftermath of sexual, physical, emotional, or religious violence, and those whose sense of self has been fractured by relational or spiritual betrayal. I also work with Veterans living with PTSD, depression, and substance use, and with thoughtful professionals seeking deep, ongoing therapy to work through disrupted beliefs or a life that has lost its meaning. My practice is open to people across the full lifespan, including children and adolescents.
