Hi, I’m Samantha Adams, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with over a decade of experience supporting adults and teens through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. I specialize in working with women navigating perimenopause, relationship challenges, and generational or attachment wounds. My approach is open-minded, nonjudgmental, and direct. I hold a master’s degree in counseling and have worked in a variety of settings, including schools, crisis centers, inpatient, and outpatient care. I draw from Attachment Theory, ACT, CBT, Mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices to create a space where healing and lasting change can happen.

I've been a Licensed Professional Counselor for 12 years and have a private office for those who live near my office. I have experience in Christian Counseling, Low Self-esteem, Communication Skills, Coping Skills, Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, ADD, Anger Management, Relationship issues, Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence and see clients ages 6 and up.

Having over a decade of experience working in multiple settings with varied populations, pales in comparison to my innate drive to support others along their individualized journeys of growth, healing, recovery, increased awareness and/or self understanding.

In 1986, my journey in the field of human services began, fueled by a lifelong passion for helping others. Majoring in the Human Services concentration at high school laid the groundwork for my unwavering commitment to this mission.

Upon earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Science with a counseling specialty, my formal training commenced in 2002. Over the years, I've gained extensive experience and expertise, working in diverse settings. Anxiety, stress, worry, uncertainty, addictions and fear don't have to define your life. With over 16 years of clinical experience, I help individuals, couples, and families identify the beliefs, thought patterns, and automatic behaviors that keep them feeling stuck.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Master of Social Work from Kennesaw State University. I specialize in working with trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, and relationship issues.
