Hi, I'm Mary. I work with individuals 16+ struggling with anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. I have over a decade of experience in the mental health field, with specialized training in trauma, crisis intervention, and eating disorder treatment.

I am a licensed counselor in Georgia and Tennessee with over 25 years of professional counseling experience. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 1992 and my Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2000. I later completed my Post‐Master’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling Certification at Freed‐Hardeman University in 2019. I have worked in private practice and as a crisis assessor, supporting adults, couples, children, and families. I specialize in anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, grief and loss, family conflict, and crisis intervention. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence‐based practices.

Travis believes in a healthy therapeutic relationship built on trust to help individuals and families achieve their goals. He has specialization in children and adolescents, substance, couples and families, depression and anxiety, behavioral issues, addiction, trauma, outdoor recreation, and mental health counseling.

I have certifications in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parenting, Trauma Focused Therapy, Moral Reconation Therapy, Domestic Violence Assessment and Treatment, Emotionally Focused Therapy, addictions, and play therapy. I have worked with many behavioral problems in children and adolescents, as well as adults.

Experiences and educational background include: Bachelors degree in Zoology and Physiology, Masters in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology/Zoology, Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. National certification in Mental Health Counseling. I have extensive experience as a clinical supervisor and director of a mental health and substance abuse clinic.
