I am a clinical psychologist with 15 years of experience in private practice. I specialize in treating adults going through major life events, including trauma, chronic illness, new parenthood, and divorce. I am trained in EMDR treatment for trauma and I am certified in perinatal mental health.

My education from Mercer University (a CACREP approved school) with additional experience in intensive marriage and family mediation. I interned with Kathy Steele, an expert on complex trauma, dissociation, and other related issues. I focus on person centered therapy and solution focused. I offer cerified EMDR. Hi! My name is Kelsey! I am a fully-licensed therapist who loves working with people with eating disorders, body image issues, OCD, anxiety, childhood sexual abuse, trauma, life transitions, and relationship concerns. At State of Grace Counseling Services, I am dedicated to providing a safe and compassionate space for individuals to explore their mental health, eating disorder, and trauma recovery needs. My mission is to empower clients and their families to overcome challenges, build fulfilling relationships, and increase happiness and meaning in life. I have worked in the eating disorder space for more than 6 years, including being the Clinical Director of an eating disorder program.

I grew up in Richmond, VA, attended undergrad at Furman University, and completed my Masters degree at VCU. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS).

When I am not seeing clients, I enjoy time with friends, hiking, traveling, reading, exploring new restaurants, and game nights.
