I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner for over 5 years, and I am also a board certified adult nurse practitioner for over 12 years. I began my nursing career graduating from university of MD with my bachelors, and then attended Johns Hopkins University for my masters. I decided to further my education by attending Brandman University to obtain my Doctorate and psychiatric mental health certification in 2018.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) with nine years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to adults. I earned my MSW at Howard University and my B.A. in Psychology at The College of St. Rose. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and life transitions.

I’ve worked in nursing for more than 30 years across clinical care, education, and leadership, and for the past eight years I’ve specialized in psychiatric mental health as a nurse practitioner. My specialties include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and stress-related concerns, and I especially enjoy working with individuals who are motivated to invest in their personal growth and well-being.

Since beginning my mental health career, I have been dedicated to supporting individuals through complex emotional and psychiatric challenges with compassion, respect, and a trauma-informed approach.

I specialize in treating adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma-related concerns, ADHD, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, emotional regulation difficulties, and substance use concerns. I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those navigating life transitions, chronic mental health challenges, and recovery journeys.

My experience spans both behavioral and family health settings, including hospital-based behavioral health units, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient care.
