As a starter, I am a child of God, a mother of three, including a pair of twins, a wife, a sister, and a friend to and of many. I also hold a clinical Social Worker license (LCSW) in Florida. I earned my master’s degree in social work from Western Michigan University and my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI. Additionally, I hold the master’s Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) credential, showcasing her expertise in treating substance use disorders. I am a certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), demonstrating ability to address complex trauma among diverse populations. I also serve as a Qualified Supervisor (QS) for registered social work interns. I believe that we are change agents and capable of growth at any point in our lives. I have dedicated the last 15 years of my life to helping others flourish in their journey to psychological wellness. I am here now to continue that mission. My background spans community mental health, crisis stabilization, outpatient care, and hospital settings, so I've sat with a wide range of what people go through.

I have a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville University. I’ve been at Wekiva Springs Center since 2022, and have experience with patients all over the spectrum from mood disorders, to substance abuse disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and psychotic disorders.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with over 20 years of experience supporting adults through life’s most challenging seasons. My background includes extensive work in behavioral health and addiction treatment, with a focus on helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, stress, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and judgment-free. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, exhausted, anxious, discouraged, or unsure of how to move forward. My goal is to help you better understand what you are experiencing, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and build healthier tools to manage life with more confidence and stability.
