Ashlee is also a doctoral candidate, who is currently working towards her Ph.d. in Clinical Sexology with a specialty in addictions. She is most skilled addressing issues related to anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, mood disorders, and substance abuse. Additionally she has a passion for helping the LGBT community and families manage the challenges that are often particular to this community such as: identity, self esteem issues, relationships challenges, fertility/adoption and family planning, as well as secondary issues that arise as a result of trauma. Ashlee is experienced in addressing challenges of both children and teens along with adults, by combining different theoretical perspectives in an attempt to aid individuals with gaining a deeper understanding of themselves.
