Have you been carrying more than you feel you can hold right now? I'm currently welcoming new clients and would love to support you. I work exclusively with women navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions, and my heart is especially drawn to those moments when life feels too heavy to carry alone. Whether you're processing a loss, feeling stuck in old patterns, or searching for a deeper sense of peace, you've come to the right place. I've spent the last four years walking alongside women through some of their hardest chapters, and I bring both warmth and real-life relatability to every session.
I'm Kathryn Konicek, founder and owner of Evolve Therapy & Consulting. I am dedicated to helping you cultivate the life you wantāwithout judgment. Seriously, fuck judgment! Whether you're navigating intense life transitions, or recovering from trauma, I work to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can show up exactly as you are, with all the messy, real parts of your story.
As your therapist, I offer a space that is nonjudgmental, kind, and genuinely welcoming. I understand that trying new ways of facing life's challenges can be intimidating, and my goal is to help you feel as comfortable as possible throughout that process.
Professionally, I bring experience from a variety of challenging settingsāincluding my time serving clients and families in foster care and nursing homes, even through the COVID-19 pandemic. My academic foundation is rooted right here in Colorado, having attended CSU and Adams State.
Personally, I'm a native Coloradan, a bonus mom, and a lover of all things creative, including photography and fine art.
My ultimate purpose in this work is simple: to be an open and secure space where you can process your journey, question mindsets that no longer serve you, and work toward being the best version of yourselfāas you define it.
I specialize in helping clients navigate grief, relational anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, self-doubt, low self-esteem, and the pressures that hold them back from living fully. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and deeply personal. With experience in working with PTSD, social anxiety, identity struggles, and the impact of divorce, Iām especially drawn to those who are ready to face challenges head-on to thrive, not just survive. I also offer Christian counseling for those wishing to integrate their faith, but all are welcome!
Hello, I'm Emily - I'm happy you're here! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a passion for supporting children, adolescents, and young adults through some of lifeās most challenging moments. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a school therapist, supporting students with IEPs as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and social challenges within the school setting. For 13 years, I worked in hospitals as a Certified Child Life Specialist, walking alongside children and families as they navigated chronic illness, medical trauma, and end-of-life experiences.
With all that is going on in the world and our community right now, youāve likely been carrying a lot for a long time. You learned how to get through overwhelming experiences, and on the outside you seem strong...but inside, you feel tired and disconnected. You might not be in crisis, but you know youāre not fully at peace, either. Maybe you want to feel grounded again, or to understand yourself more deeply, or to reconnect with the parts of you that had to go quiet in order to cope. Youāre ready for a slower, steadier kind of healing, and a therapist that feels safe and honors your pace.
I am a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed therapist who specializes in working with children, teens, and families. I have extensive experience supporting clients with autism, adhd, anxiety, big emotions, and challenging behaviors. I also enjoy providing parent support and coaching.
As a parent of 2 neurodivergent children, I bring both professional expertise and lived empathy to my work. I offer telehealth (primary) in-home, and community-based sessions so I can meet clients where they feel most comfortable.
I offer individual, couples, premarital, marriage, family, child, and adolescent counseling. The environment is a non-judgmental, safe place of acceptance. I will walk along side and help you develop strength and peace. I offer ways that can be helpful in managing trauma, stress, and dealing with communication and trust within relationships. My goal is to help you access internal resources and make adjustments that can be helpful. Since 2013, my focus has been working with individuals who are dealing with a variety of issues, including trauma. I enjoy working with a diverse population including individuals who are dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and grief, to develop a plan to bring positive changes.
