I’m Dan Spadaro I work with adult men, women, adolescents and families who want to work, heal, and get unstuck. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed by relationship struggles, patterns of compulsive behavior, or a sense of being disconnected from life and relationships.
It’s an honor to walk alongside you.
Hi, I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I enjoy helping clients reach their full potential.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Master’s degree in Psychology and Counseling, my approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and a holistic understanding of mental wellness. I believe that mental health care is most effective when it is personalized and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences, challenges, and goals. I work with individuals, couples, and families aged 16 to 65, providing care that is inclusive, affirming, and tailored to each client’s specific needs.
I am a published researcher and licensed professional counselor with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology.
I am trained in the scientist-practitioner model and strive to ensure my clinical approach to therapy is informed by up-to-date and cutting edge research. I strive to create a safe and judgement-free therapeutic relationship where we can collaborate to accomplish your goals.
This wild, painful, beautiful human experience can be a lot to process on our own, and it can be empowering to sort it out with a compassionate mental health professional who can be a support throughout your emotional growth. I am committed to showing up with empathy and gentle curiosity in collaboration with my clients. I am licensed in and seeing clients in Colorado, Maine, and Rhode Island.
I have a passion for working with visual artists, writers, poets, musicians, and designers. I am an artist who believes that creative expression can be a way to engage the healing process and help us make meaning in this tumultuous world. I love working with artists and creatives, but you do not need to identify as an artist or creative to collaborate in therapy with me. We all hold the potential for creative healing engagement with ourselves, in relationships, and in the world.
I welcome the opportunity to work with clients of all backgrounds and identities.
I received my MA in Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University, my MFA in Visual Art from Rutgers University, and my BFA in Visual Studies from Iowa State University. Before I became a counselor I spent fifteen years teaching studio art and cultural studies courses at colleges and universities across the United States. As an artist, writer, former academic, and mental health counselor, I have dedicated my life to creating connection and depth in relationships.
I am a Master's level Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about supporting you in your journey toward wholeness. I have worked with clients from children to older adults, supporting them around anxiety and mood disorders, trauma and abuse, and relationship concerns. My clients come from diverse cultures. I enjoy finding what we have in common as well as what makes us each unique. While acknowledging your struggles, I want to help you move toward your strengths in your own context.
I'm a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult mental health, and I'm passionate about helping people in the most effective, personalized way I can.
I believe good care starts with connection. While strong credentials matter, what matters most to me is truly listening and understanding what you're going through — then building a plan that fits your values and your goals. Care with me might involve prescribing, deprescribing, interventional treatment, therapy, or a thoughtful combination, always tailored to what will help you most.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I see every client as a human with dignity. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships issues, and religious harm.

Many of the people I work with are high-functioning by every external measure — capable, driven, the one others lean on — while privately carrying anxiety, burnout, shame, or a quiet sense of disconnection from themselves or the people they love. If that's you, you don't need to be told to slow down. You need someone who can help you understand the patterns underneath it and actually change them.
I'm a licensed psychologist with a Ph.D., working with adults and couples. My style is warm and direct: I'll listen closely, and I'll also tell you what I'm seeing. The aim is lasting change — understanding what's been driving the pattern so you can do something different, rather than just managing symptoms.
