I can help you to develop a warm, loving relationship with the parts of yourself that may get in the way of the healing and recovery you are interested in. With attention to how pain, loss, and suffering can be held in the body and through cultivating compassion and attention, together we can work to move these experiences through to completion and create space for something new.
You to become an expert "on you".
You learn about your defenses, your triggers, and your trauma. You learn what your style pertaining to being challenged and attached?
If you've been told your anxiety, exhaustion, or emotional shifts are "just stress" or "just aging" — and something in you knows it's more than that — you're in the right place. I'm Kristal, a licensed therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting people through life's most challenging transitions. That career — rooted in crisis intervention, child welfare, and working alongside people experiencing homelessness — built in me a deep capacity to sit with complexity, pain, and change without flinching. That foundation now drives my specialized work with women navigating perimenopause and menopause. I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to this work. I've walked this road myself — which means when you show up, you will be genuinely seen and heard, perhaps in a way you haven't been in a long time.

I am a therapist that welcomes all, humbly, and strives to build community with those I encounter. You are welcome here, however you may be.
I have experience with adults and teenagers in systems of care including nonprofits, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. I specialize in trauma and addictions but enjoy working with variety in all its forms. I am passionate about adventure and the outdoors and want to help my clients improve their relationship to the land, connection to self, and deepening the quality of our interactions with others.
Hi. I'm glad you're here. The decision to ask for help is a brave and difficult choice, and I'm proud of you for making it. I might be a good fit for you if you're looking for someone who has been where you're at. In addition to my own experiences with mental health and life challenges, I have worked in substance use disorder treatment, inpatient psychiatric treatment, and community risk assessment/management.
Reaching out for help takes courage, and I'm glad you're here. Whether you're working through substance use, the aftermath of trauma, anger that feels hard to manage, or stress that's spilling into your family life, you don't have to figure it out alone. I've spent my career helping adults find their footing again, and I'd be honored to help you do the same.
Along the way I've trained in addiction recovery, trauma and abuse therapy, EMDR (Levels I and II), and Motivational Interviewing. I've also helped build intensive residential and outpatient treatment programs, and I train and supervise other clinicians in Colorado. What that means for you is experience you can lean on, with a person who treats you as a person, not a diagnosis.
