I have been practicing therapy for 10 years with passion for working with individuals. My specialties are trauma, grief, anxiety, depression and working with addictions. I am EMDR trained and currently working on my addictions license. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Metro St. University of Denver in 2011 and my Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology from Evangel University in 2013.
As a dual-career professional, I blend deep clinical counseling expertise with decades of corporate and entrepreneurial experience - giving you a unique, practical perspective on personal and professional growth. My approach integrates the rigor of evidence-based Western science with the grounded wisdom of Eastern humanistic philosophy.
Everyone has a life story and every story is important. Are you feeling unsure, stuck, or lost in your life story? You don’t have to go through it alone. We can co-create achievable actions and goals leading to your happiness, hope, and healing. With over 20 years’ experience and training in multiple therapeutic approaches; progress can be rapid and lasting. Working with adults navigating disruptive thought patterns, confusing life circumstances, and past traumas.
Finding a counselor who you can trust and relate to is not always easy. People who have worked with me describe me as warm, authentic, and passionate about what I do.
Like many, I live in and love the state of Colorado. Any chance I get I'm out exploring the outdoors. It provides balance in my personal and professional life.
As a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner I share my interests with clients I see.
When I was working full-time as a Family Nurse Practitioner I saw an unmet need in clients finding a balance in their physical and mental health. I decided to return to school to strengthen my knowledge in psychiatric mental health care.
For the past five years my focus has included seeing clients with substance dependence, MAT treatment, ADHD, Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. I especially enjoy the 1:1 experience via telehealth seeing clients in the comforts of their own home.
I specialize in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, a practical and modern approach that helps you
move forward instead of getting stuck in the past. If you’ve tried therapy before and felt it missed
the mark, or if you’re hesitant to begin, my style is supportive, goal-oriented, and centered
around real progress. Together, we’ll focus on what’s already working, build on your strengths,
and create meaningful steps toward lasting change.
I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, family conflict, school stress, or parenting stress — and trauma for adolescents. Many come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or unsure how to trust themselves or others again. As a bilingual, Spanish-speaking clinician, I help bicultural clients bridge two worlds and feel understood in their first language, whether we work together in English, Spanish, or both. Expect a warm, down-to-earth space — I laugh easily, ask direct questions, and believe therapy should feel human, not clinical.
I’m a licensed therapist with master’s degrees in both Philosophy and Clinical Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver. My work is guided by values of openness, empathy, and curiosity, and I see therapy as a collaborative space for growth and self-discovery. I strive to create an environment where clients feel genuinely seen, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I work with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, thought disorders, and life transitions, helping them build resilience and a deeper sense of fulfillment.
