This experience shaped a steady, grounded approach to care, especially in moments of stress, transition, or uncertainty.

I have multiple years of experience in the mental health field ranging from outpatient and community mental health, inpatient, crisis management, and residential treatment. I am passionate about providing mental health treatment to people with anxiety, depression, and neurodivergent challenges.

I specialize in a wide range of treatment areas including depression, anxiety, autism, oppositional defiant disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. I have worked in several different settings and enjoy providing care through telehealth, which offers access to quality care when it is needed.

My name is Julie Johns I went to school in Richmond VA for my undergraduate degree in social work and Northern Virginia for my masters in clinical social work. I have worked in a variety of settings such as hospitals, schools and private practice. I have a wide range of knowledge and skills with trauma therapy and eye movement therapy. as well as working with individuals who suffer with anxiety, depression and life transitions. I have worked within different populations identifying my clients individualized needs and creating treatment plans to help address and support their goals.
