I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University. I work with clients from young adults to older individuals, who are navigating a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, trauma, and LGBTQ+ concerns. I'm a psych NP. I have worked in general psychiatry and addiction medicine. I utilize CBT and motivational interviewing to help inspire change.

With nearly 60 years of professional experience working with individuals, couples and families, I understand how deeply emotional pain, relationship struggles, family stress, loss, and life transitions can affect people.

I have extensive experience working with at-risk adolescents and young adults facing challenges such as self-harming behaviors, trauma, addictions, and family conflict.

I have worked successfully with adults navigating substance use concerns, chronic pain and other health difficulties, caregiver burnout, grief, various forms of loss, and major life transitions.

In addition, I work with couples facing communication difficulties, separation, infidelity, divorce and other relationship challenges, as well as families dealing with parenting stress, illness, addictions, cultural adaptation, and significant life changes. I am also able to support families with young children who are experiencing developmental difficulties, health challenges, or acting-out behaviors and I provide pre-marital counseling for couples who are about to tie the knot. Throughout our work together, I strive to help clients build greater self-awareness, strengthen relationships, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward a greater sense of balance, connection, and emotional well-being.

I’ve been in the field for 20 years. I’m a mother of three and a wife.

I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University. My background includes experience in university disability services as well as several years working closely with children and families in foster and adoptive care. Since transitioning into outpatient therapy, I’ve focused on providing thoughtful, accessible mental health care that meets clients where they are.

I work with children and adolescents (ages 11+), adults, couples, and families navigating concerns such as ADHD, behavioral challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship or family stress. My experience in foster and adoptive care gives me a strong foundation in attachment, identity, and family systems, allowing me to support both individuals and families in meaningful ways.

I created Growing with Grace Counseling Services to serve the community as a loving, inclusive, & accepting space for all. I have been a therapist for 8 years and have seen patients thrown around to different providers, feeling unheard, stuck, & lost. My goal is to create a space where patients know they will be treated with true care. It's a place where I am just as excited to watch you grow as you are, and you and I will be partners in this journey.

I've been in practice for 25 years. I enjoy working with individuals and couples. I specialize in helping individuals with a variety of issues, including depression and anxeity.
