I graduated from UNC-Charlotte in 2012. I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I have worked in a school setting for several years supporting the social and emotional needs of children. I have worked in the University setting as a college counselor and I also have experience working with adults in the community. I would love to walk alongside of you in your journey.

Hello! After my military career, I figured out there were no available job opportunities as a superhero so I chose a different path to help others and became a clinical social worker. While raising two kids, I started school, completed a life coaching course, and graduated with my MSW in 2006. I started my career at a local hospital providing inpatient services. Later, I joined an agency providing outpatient mental health therapy to help adults navigate through complicated life issues.

I am the founder and owner or RKM Counseling. For the past 18 years I have worked as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, helping clients through both extremely challenging circumstances and daily struggles with life. In 2008, I obtained my Masters degree in Counseling from the #2 nationally ranked counseling program. I specialize in grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety and depression.

I am Lindsey, I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor and a licensed clinical addiction specialist in the state of North Carolina.

I graduated from Western Carolina University with a bachelors of Psychology in 2020, and from Montreat College with a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023.

I specialize in drug and alcohol addiction, codependent behaviors, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, and trauma.

I bring over 20 plus years of experience working in Mental Health and Law Enforcement. During that time, I have assisted many individuals and families navigating through crisis and difficult times. Working in that capacity for so long has enhanced my innate ability to establish a rapport with people of various backgrounds navigating unique challenges.
