Hi! I am Valerie L. Rennon MSN, APRN, WHNP-BC, PMHNP-BC. I am a dual board certified nurse practitioner in both psychiatric mental health and women's health across the lifespan. I have been in practice for over a year now and my most recent experience has been in an underserved and underinsured area of downtown Detroit, MI.

I have also been an adjunct clinical instructor for RN students over the past 3 years. I am a graduate from Michigan State University, University of Colorado Anschutz, University of Texas Arlington and Colorado Mountain College. Having moved about the country for a bit, my husband of 18 years and I have established our home in MI with our two children, dog Curley and our bearded dragon Sami.

Hi there, my name’s Ephraim and I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20+ years of experience. My specialties consist of relationships, men’s issues, career counseling, and psychosomatic illnesses.

Whether it's individuals or couples, I'm happy to get to work with whomever comes my way. I do my best to facilitate a warm, trusting environment. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, working initially with the adolescent population before transitioning over to adults. I then received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. I was born and raised in Michigan. I love the four seasons and all of the college and professional sport teams. I have over 20 years of behavioral health experience and both mental health and substance abuse. I also hold a certificate from Western Michigan University for treating drug and alcohol addictions.

I have been counseling people of all ages for 43 years. I begin with listening to your story. I not only want to hear it; I want to understand it as well. Sometimes, this mutual understanding alone is all that a client needs. During the intake process, I will ask you detailed questions to further understanding of your situation and issues you are dealing with right now. Next, we will work together to form a plan of action which will guide our sessions together, which typically last 45 – 50 minutes. This plan of action will focus on helping you, the client, work towards solving problems and issues that you present. Did I mention that takes work? Achieving understanding of issues and taking appropriate actions towards wellness both take time, concentration and energy.
