A bit about my educational journey: Upon Graduating from High School in Oregon, I headed East. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Communication Studies from Emerson College in Boston where I minored in Psychology. My Masters in Clinical Mental Health came years later from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.

I am a licensed mental health counselor, and in recent years, my practice has evolved to focus on the issues of depression, anxiety, and trauma. I treat clients of all ages, but my special interest in working with individuals in highly stressful work\school environments.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings, providing comprehensive mental health care across diverse populations. My background includes extensive work in behavioral health emergency settings, partial hospitalizations, IOP, recovery care, community psychiatric care. I also have experience supporting dually diagnosed patients with co-occurring medical conditions, giving me a broad perspective on the complex interplay between mental and physical health.

I earned my PMHNP degree from Post University and hold PMHNP licensure in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to evidence-based care, while continuously seeking opportunities for professional development and growth in the mental health field.

I have been in human services for over 30 years. I am see individuals over 21 years of age. I am an LICSW and accept most insurances. Most of my experience is in trauma, substance abuse, anxiety and relational issues

I have been working with teens and young adults for over 20yrs, mostly in group homes. I specifically work with people who have experienced trauma and lived in foster care. I think it is important for you to have choice and control of your life, and that many systems and therapy have often not been helpful. I want to try something different.

For the past 3.5 years, I’ve had the privilege of leading a multi-site inpatient unit, supporting individuals with persistent mental illness and substance use as they work toward stability and recovery. Now, I’m stepping into private practice and writing my next chapter. I’m licensed in Florida and passionate about making care accessible and meaningful. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Board Certified Music Therapist (MTBC). I received my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Therapies from Lesley University.
