I specialize in medication management in treating mood, anxiety, psychotic, and substance use disorders. In the past, I worked as an RN in a dual diagnosis inpatient psychiatric unit. Recently, I have working in an outpatient private practice.

As a Doctor in Nursing Practice, I have been in healthcare for over ten years, which has prepared me to manage my patients with evidence-based treatment modalities. I am a licensed Social Worker with more than 25 years experience working in the field of Mental Health. I have worked with individuals, couples and families with a particular emphasis on crisis intervention and the impact of mental illness on the family system. My experiences have included assisting clients learn to manage mood disorders and anxiety and learn skills related to anger management, healthy relationships, parenting and boundary setting. I have extensive experience assisting individuals within the correctional system with learning skills needed for successful reentry into the community.

Dr. Seraphine Agbor is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner CRNP-PMH, graduated with a Doctorate from Chatham University. Dr. Agbor has over seven years of experience working with patients dealing with addiction and mental illnesses. She works with patients dealing with depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, and many others. She utilizes a mix of medications and psychotherapy, and works with devoted staff to offer alternative treatments that may be beneficial to patients. Dr. Agbor follows evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition. She also ensures the quality of care, and open communication lines between all members of the healthcare team. Dr. Agbor has strong clinical skills, enhanced by her natural ability to build rapport with patients and families.

I have been in private practice for over 24 years. I work with my clients to resolve past issues and work towards their present and future goals. I use a variety of skills to provide the best treatment for each client, including cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, hypnosis and strength based. I provide individual, couples and family therapy.

I am a licensed clinical social worker experienced with 22 years of practice and a former connection with public safety as a First Responder. I have always enjoyed working with people. I have both a bachelors and master's in clinical social work. My experience over the past 30years includes working with grief, anxiety, depression, addiction/ recovery. I enjoy working with the military both active duty and veterans as I understand the military culture.
